The press says mortgage rates went above 7%; we have always thought that meant poor performance on the stock market. You can see the risk adjusted Sharpe Ratio is 0.39
What is really surprising is that the Sharpe Ratio is 0.33 when mortgage rates are below 7%. This is clearly not what you would have expected.
